YU has just announced that it will be making available its operating system as part of an open source effort, and have issued an invitation to developers to go ahead with the download in order to contribute to the spanking new YU-OPEN-OS. It has been dubbed to be part of the new Project Highway, where YU will be “curating source codes from multiple drop points, such as Google’s AOSP repos, Chipset Vendors Repos, Various ROMs (where the community developers contribute), Internal YU customization and finally creating one manifest which will be able to support all YU based devices and other Android devices too.”

In addition, users who are making use of Yureka, Yureka Plus, Yuphoria, and Yunique will also be able to download a beta build of Marshmallow for their respective devices, and the stable version is all set to arrive within the coming 30 days. In other words, you would have to make sure that you are patient enough before you can dive in and enjoy a beta build of Marshmallow. After all, good things do come to those who wait, don’t you think so? A lot can happen in the next 30 days, but sure as heck there won’t be an Android 7.0 version out by then, you can count on it.
