yunicornGood things come to those who wait, or so the saying goes. Well, if you have been enamored with what YU has done in the world of smartphones even though they are not a major player at all, surely you would have heard of the YU Yunicorn, right? We did talk about it earlier this month, and we are pleased to bring you glad tidings that the YU Yunicorn has been officially launched with a MediaTek P10 chipset, sporting an asking price of $193 a pop.

Interestingly enough, its latest smartphone gets a launch in instead, and it will be a mid-range device for sure, where it will go up against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 while sharing a physical resemblance to its rival. In terms of hardware specifications, the YU Yunicorn will come with a 5.5” Full HD display, a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 13MP shooter at the back, a 5MP front-facing camera, a fingerprint sensor, and a 4,000mAh battery.

It will arrive in silver, graphite and gold colors – whatever rocks your boat, with an asking price of $192 thereabouts via Flipkart. Registrations for the YU Yunicorn will begin today, and the handset is all set for sale this coming 7th of June. [Product Page]
