Black Friday and Cyber Monday are two of the biggest days for online sales. Retailers like Amazon sell products worth billions of dollars on those two days but that just wasn’t enough for the online retail giant, so last year it created its own holiday, the Amazon Prime Day. The Prime Day was launched to offer a plethora of great discounts to Prime members on a single day and after the response from last year, Amazon has decided to bring it back.

All Prime Day deals will only be available exclusively for Amazon Prime members who pay $99 per year for this program and also get access to additional services aside from free two-day shipping on millions of products.

Amazon organized the first Prime Day to commemorate its 20th anniversary. The event was a hit. It drove new subscriptions for Prime and sales even topped Black Friday but Amazon was criticized for poor management.

Many customers complained about a lack of in-demand deals and that discounted items were selling too quickly, there just wasn’t enough inventory to support the rush and customers took to social media to vent their frustration. Amazon has taken steps to ensure that customers don’t have to go through that this year.

The company promises that inventory behind the deals will be “dramatically increased” and that it will be easy to search for discounted items by going through categories. It has promised more than 100,000 deals for Prime members worldwide, they will be available for new and existing Prime members in the US, UK, Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, Belgium, and Austria.

Amazon Prime Day returns July 12th, 2016.
