When Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was first announced, it was met with a lot of negative response. So much so that the game’s trailer actually become one of the most disliked YouTube videos of all time, something that Activision seems to be taking in stride as they believe that the actual game will change everyone’s minds.

We suppose that remains to be seen, but in the meantime during Sony’s E3 conference, a new gameplay trailer was released, showing us the kind of space-like battles we will be able to expect from the game upon its release. Now we have to say that this is definitely a very different Call of Duty from what we’ve expected in the past, but this is not necessarily a bad thing.

However one of the main criticisms behind the game itself is its futuristic setting, and it looks like the gameplay trailer is doing no one any good. In fact at this time of writing, the trailer has over 14,000 dislikes versus the 8,000 or so likes. Based on this trend it seems that Activision certainly has their job cut out for them in terms of trying to convince gamers that it will be good.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been set for a release on the 4th of November where it will be available on the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC. It will also feature Jon Snow a.k.a. Kit Harington as the game’s villain.
