Activision is going to provide lots of details about Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare at E3 2016 next week but fans of the franchise should not keep their fingers crossed for a multiplayer reveal. It turns out that the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer reveal has actually be scheduled for September this year in line with the Call of Duty XP event.

The Call of Duty XP 2016 event has been officially announced today. It’s going to take place at the Forum in Inglewood, California, September 2nd to September 4th.

It’s at this event that Activision is going to showcase the multiplayer experience for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as well as the remastered edition of Modern Warfare. For the first time, fans will be able to go hands-on with the games, as well as the Zombies mode of Infinite Warfare and the next expansion for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

Event attendees will also have the chance to check out a virtual reality experience that virtually puts them inside the cockpit of the Jackal spaceship from Infinite Warfare. Should they wish, attendees will be able to take park in a Nuketown-inspired paintball match.

Lots of fun activities have been planned for Call of Duty XP 2016 event as well as developer panels which will feature Treyarch, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games.

Tickets for this event will go on sale June 11th at 10 am PST, tickets start at $49 and go all the way up to $199 for the Prestige Ticket.
