curb-your-enthusiasm-season-9

It was rumored a couple of weeks ago that HBO could bring back the popular show Curb Your Enthusiasm for a ninth season. The show never really had an ending as most shows do, so it won’t be surprising to see it return to TV. HBO certainly thinks the bet will pay off which is why it’s going ahead with it. Creator and star Larry David will obviously be returning to reprise his role in Curb Your Enthusiasm.

“We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” said HBO programming president Casey Bloys. Larry’s comments on the situation were signature Larry: “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned,” he said.

For those who are unaware, Curb Your Enthusiasm first came out back in 2000. Many would draw comparisons with Seinfeld which Larry was an integral part of but Curb Your Enthusiasm is in a league of its own.

The show follows a fictionalized version of Larry as he navigates his personal life, relationships, and situations in Hollywood. It ran for eight seasons on HBO before coming to an end and featured broad storylines including a Seinfeld reunion.

No details of the new season have been confirmed yet so it’s unclear right now when it’s going to air.
