The latest version of DOOM has received mixed reviews. There have been several complaints by gamers with regards to the game’s multiplayer feature, although a recent update should hopefully address any problems. That being said, it is understandable if this has put some games off from  buying the game.

The good news is that Bethesda has announced during E3 2016 that for the entire week, they will be giving away a free demo of the game. This demo will allow players to play through the first level of the game for free, and even better news is that the demo will be available to gamers across multiple platforms including the PC, Xbox One, and the PS4.

According to the description, “In the DOOM Demo, Fight Like Hell through the opening level of the first-person shooter’s single-player campaign. As the lone DOOM Marine, you’ll use impossibly destructive guns and fast, fluid movement to obliterate relentless demon hordes invading the UAC facility on Mars.”

So whether or not you are a PC or console gamer, there will be a demo available for you guys to try. However we reckon since that this is only a demo for the first level, chances are you’ll be able to complete it in a relatively short amount of time, but we guess it’s still better than nothing.
