fallout-4-dlc-release-1For PC gamers, support for mods on Fallout 4 have been available for a while now. Last month, mods also finally made their way onto the Xbox One, and this month it was expected that mod support would also arrive for the PS4, but it seems that PS4 gamers will have to wait a little longer as the feature has been delayed.

In a post on Twitter, Bethesda announced that mod support for the PS4 has been delayed, although they did not explain why, only that they will update players when they can. “We regret to say that the PS4 Mods Beta for Fallout 4 has been delayed. We will update everyone when we can.”

However it is possible that this could be due to the issues that Bethesda had acknowledged. For those learning about this for the first time, basically some memory-related issues were discovered and according to Bethesda at that time, they were working with Sony to address them before releasing the feature to players.

This was about 2 weeks ago and we guess by the look of things that Bethesda and Sony have yet to fully address them. In any case we suppose it’s good that Bethesda is taking their time with it as we’d rather not have a buggy feature, and we’ll keep our eyes peeled for a new release date.
