Microsoft today announced Forza Horizon 3 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. It’s going to be released exclusively on the aforementioned platforms later this year. The game is set in Australia and the team says it has created the largest, most diverse, beautiful, and fun open world it has ever built. It’s twice the size of Forza Horizon 2, so fans of this open world series are most certainly in for a treat.

In Forza Horizon 3, players are in charge of the Horizon Festival, they have the power to modify race events, customize everything from driver characters to body kits, and even fire friends.

Cars are an integral part of this game and Forza Horizon 3 showcases over 350 cars at launch. The game includes new vehicle types that have never before been included in the series. Each car gets full cockpit views, working wipers and lights, and all of them can be fully explored in ForzaVista mode.

Also for the first time in Forza history, Forza Horizon 3 is going to offer seamless cross-play enabling players on Xbox One and Windows 10 to play together in the same session, regardless of whether it’s four-player campaign co-op or head-to-head multiplayer.

Forza Horizon 3 is going to be released later this year for Xbox One and PC, it will be released across the globe on September 27th to be precise.
