mobile authFor those who play Blizzard games and want to keep their accounts secure, you guys are probably aware of the mobile authenticator app. For those who aren’t familiar, this app generates a one-time code that you enter when logging into your account, thus ensuring that even if a hacker got your username and password, they still can’t log into your account.

However it is understandable that some gamers aren’t very big fans of the feature as it takes quite a bit of time, especially since the code generated each time is different. Blizzard understands this and has since issued an update to the app to make it easier for gamers to log into their games while keeping it secure.

The new feature is called the One-Button Authenticator which as you can see in the screenshot above, it now lets users tap the Approve button to authenticate their login instead of entering a code. This saves users a lot of time, although it should be noted that the security option is still there for those who prefer the latter method.

The Battle.net Mobile Authenticator app with the latest update is currently available for download via the iTunes App Store and Google Play, so head on over to get your hands on it if you haven’t done so already.
