TitanfallAccording to a recent leak, it was suggested that EA could be launching Titanfall 2 come 1st of October. It turns out that the rumor might have some merit because speaking at the 2016 Global Technology Conference, EA’s CFO Blake Jorgensen revealed that Titanfall 2’s release will be close to the release of Battlefield 1.

Jorgensen revealed that the game would be released within 3 weeks of Battlefield 1. “We’ve always gone head-to-head with Call of Duty [which launches after Battlefield 1 on November 4], and so we’re not uncomfortable with that, and essentially we’re kinda coming from both sides now in the quarter. So we’re pretty excited about it.”

However he did not mention whether it would be before or after Battlefield 1’s release, although he did seem to hint it was the latter. Assuming that it is before, then we guess the 1st of October release date would make sense because Battlefield 1 has been set for a release on the 21st of October.

However his mention of Call of Duty’s Infinite Warfare (which is set for the 4th of November) hinted that maybe it could be released after Battlefield 1. In any case we guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but either way an October/November release seems to be the likely scenario.
