skyrim-tunesBethesda is expected to make quite a few announcements at E3 2016 next week, like maybe a new Wolfenstein title, and last we heard, the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim remaster. Now whether or not the latter announcement is true remains to be seen, but in the meantime it seems that a retailer in the UK thinks that it is.

A listing for Skyrim: Definitive Edition has been spotted on UK retailer Base’s website. According to the listing, this is a game for the PS4 and the Xbox One and has been pegged for the 23rd of November as a release date, which we have to say is rather specific which has us wondering if Base knows more than they are letting on.

While there are no additional descriptions offered for the title, we can only imagine that this “Definitive Edition” will be a remaster of the original game and also include all the DLCs, tools, and patches that have been released to date. Of course it is entirely possible that the UK retailer is speculating, but it does corroborate some of the rumors.

Also given that Bethesda did state that they did not have any plans for new Elder Scroll titles, at least not anytime soon, a remastered Skyrim could appease some fans of the franchise. Either way check back with us next week where hopefully we will have the official details for you.
