Watch-Dogs-Aiden-PearceSo it is no secret that Watch Dogs 2 is currently in development and last we checked, it will be released by April 2017 at the latest (Ubisoft was very vague about the release date). However it seems that we might be able to glean more details about the gaming in the coming weeks, at least according to Ubisoft who confirmed that they will be showing off the game at E3.

In an email sent out to inform gamers about their plans for E3, Ubisoft revealed that they would be sharing details about Watch Dogs 2 at the event. Of course given that Ubisoft does have other games under their name, the company will also be detailing other titles like For Honor, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.

Right now not much is known about Watch Dogs 2, but last we heard, Ubisoft did state that the game would feature “innovative gameplay”. Given that the original Watch Dogs title was rather unique already, we have to say that we’re a bit excited to see what kind of new gameplay and story Ubisoft will be able to cook up with in the sequel.

The original Watch Dogs was also something of a hit and reportedly sold 4 million copies within its first week. It went on to sell 9 million copies overall, so here’s hoping the sequel will at least be able to match the original, if not surpass it.
