xbox-one-s-leakMicrosoft has hinted that this year’s E3 will be a special one, and by that many have taken this to mean that the company could unveil their latest Xbox One. It has not been confirmed yet but thanks to a photo that has made its way online, it seems that we are looking at what could be the Xbox One S.

Apparently that’s what the console will be called, and given its design, we can only assume that the “S” stands for “slim” which is one of its rumored features and clearly what we can see in the image above. Of course it should be taken with a grain of salt as this could easily be a concept rendering by a fan.

That being said according to the poster of the image, the new design of the Xbox One is said to be 40% smaller than the original, which is saying a lot. It will come in a white finish (we’re not sure if there will be other options), and its power brick will be internal, so no more huge bricks lying across your living room waiting to trip you up.

Other rumored features include 4K capabilities and HDR content, a 2TB hard drive, and apparently a more “streamlined” controller. It is also expected to be priced higher. Like we said, Microsoft has yet to make it official, but given that Sony has already confirmed an upgraded PS4, we guess Microsoft’s official announcement shouldn’t be too far behind (we hope).
