Amazon introduced Prime Day last year, it’s a day it has created to offer exclusive deals to Prime members. It saw more orders being placed on Prime Day last year than on Black Friday which makes sense for it to make Prime Day an annual thing. It’s back today – July 12th – and to steal Amazon’s thunder Best Buy is also offering some discounts on a variety of electronics.
Prime Day deals are exclusive for Prime Members, which means that those who don’t have a subscription will first need to get one. It’s a great way for Amazon to drive growth for Prime subscriptions.
Best Buy’s deals page lists products like smartphones, TVs, cameras, drones, headphones, and more. Deals include a $75 gift card with an unlocked Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge, $350 off a Samsung 55-inch 4K UHD TV, $100 off Beats Studio wireless headphones, etc.
These deals and discounts are only available for a limited time so be sure to quickly pick up whatever interests you. Be sure to compare the price with Amazon as well because many of the products have been discounted by both retailers.
Best Buy isn’t the only retailer that’s countering Amazon Prime Day. Walmart is offering deals too as well as free shipping for a week without any purchase requirements.
