cloud ff7Last year the good folks at Square Enix decided to release Final Fantasy VII on iOS devices. Unfortunately for Android gamers at that time, the game was not available for Android, at least back then, but the good news is that it looks like the Android version of the game is finally ready and available.

Gamers looking to relive some nostalgia can head on over to the Google Play Store where they will be able to get their hands on the game. It should be noted that it is expensive at a price of $15.99 which is considerably higher than regular mobile games, but then again Square Enix has never made their mobile games cheap to begin with.

The company has justified this by saying that their games are full-fledged games, unlike some mobile games which are designed to just help pass the time. We guess at the end of the day it’s really up to gamers to decide if it is worth their money, but given how popular Final Fantasy VII was/is, we suppose there are plenty of fans who wouldn’t mind forking out money for it.

In the meantime Square Enix is still working on the remake which unfortunately still does not have a release date, so we guess until then gamers will have to make do with the mobile version (or the PC version if that’s more your thing).
