Gravity Rush 2 was showcased last month at the E3 2016 gaming convention. The game’s massive highly detailed environments were appreciated many who got some time with the hands-on demo at E3 2016. Many of them will now be wondering when this game is going to be released, and that has finally been confirmed today.

Gravity Rush 2 is going to be released for PlayStation 4 on December 2nd. Those who pre-order this game from participating retailers will get an alternate white costume DLC for Kat and a Select Soundtrack featuring nine tracks from the game.

The game will be available for pre-order starting August 2nd on the PlayStation Store, an instant reward of 10 PSN avatars from the game will be provided to those who pre-order the title.

Gravity Rush 2 sees the return of gravity shifters Kat and Raven, who is now a powerful ally, ex-cop Syd as well as several new characters. One of the first new characters in this game is a mysterious guardian angel who shows up when Kat is in a difficult position.

A brand new anime is going to be released prior to the release of Gravity Rush 2. It will be called Gravity Rush The Animation ~ Overture ~ and it’s going to bridge the gap between the original title and the sequel.
