The other day it was rumored that Blizzard could be getting ready to introduce new heroes of the Heroes of the Storm game. Warcraft’s Gul’dan is said to be one of them and now it looks like the rumors have been proven true as Blizzard has officially announced new heroes, hero skins, and mounts that they will be adding to the game in the future.

One of the new heroes Blizzard will be adding is Gul’dan from the Warcraft universe. From the video above it seems that the character doesn’t look like his movie or World of Warcraft counterpart, although there are skins for the hero that will make him look more similar, but at the base we reckon he looks more like the Warcraft 3 character.

In addition to Gul’dan, Blizzard will be adding Auriel from Diablo 3, whom for those unfamiliar is the Archangel of Hope. There will be new skins added for existing classes, as well as a handful of new mounts. Now the rumor had suggested that we can expect the Blade Master character from Warcraft to be introduced to the game, but Blizzard’s announcement did not cover that.

There was also no mention of the StarCraft-related maps either, so either the rumors were wrong on that or we can expect those to come at a later date. No word on when these heroes will be added, but you can check them out in the video above.
