For gamers who enjoyed the concept and characters from the first Injustice game by NetherRealm, you guys have probably learnt by now that we will be getting a sequel in the form of Injustice 2 that was announced last month, and it looks like we will have at least 2 new characters to look forward to thanks to an announcement made at Comic-Con.
According to NetherRealm, they have announced that they will be adding Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle into the game. You can check out both characters in action in the video above, which we have to say looks pretty fun. We’re not sure if this is the extent of the roster but we wouldn’t be surprised if additional DC characters will be added in the future as we get closer to its release.
Just in case you’re unfamiliar with the Injustice franchise, basically it’s a fighting game between DC characters. The first Injustice was based around the story of Superman turning “evil” after the Joker kills a pregnant Lois Lane, after which he decides that saving the day is not good enough and that he has to take matters into his own hands.
There is an accompanying comic series for those who don’t have access to the game. Injustice 2 is scheduled for a release next year and it will be arriving on both the PS4 and Xbox One.
