apple_logoWith the iPhone 6s, Apple made the jump from 1GB of RAM to 2GB of RAM, and it was rather noticeable in terms of speed. However as we have seen in the past, Apple isn’t the sort of company to introduce huge upgrades, like going from quad-core to octa-core and such, which also explains why until today, the iPhone still sports a dual-core processor.

However according to a research note from Deutsche Bank, analysts have stated that based on supply chain sources that Apple could be introducing 3GB of RAM to the iPhone 7 this year. Not many had expected Apple to increase the RAM again so quickly, but assuming that it is true, we guess we wouldn’t mind.

The report goes on to state that Apple will be shipping the iPhone 7 with a Lightning-to-3.5mm dongle. There is a bit of back and forth regarding this aspect of the iPhone. Some have suggested that we could be looking at a bundled adapter, while others claim that we could be looking at new Lightning EarPods.

We suppose having an adapter would be great for users who have their own set of headphones, but until we actually see the device for ourselves, we suggest you guys take the report with a grain of salt for now.
