apple watch olympicsAre you planning a trip to Rio in Brazil to catch the 2016 Olympic games? If you are, you might be interested to learn that according to a report from GQ, it seems that Apple will be creating limited edition Olympic-themed Apple Watch bands that will feature the flags of 14 different countries that are participating in the games.

These are official bands from Apple but we guess with the popularity of the games, don’t be surprised if you come across some bands that might be knock-offs that try to capitalize on it. The bands will only be sold in Brazil at the Apple Store in VillageMall in Barra da Tijuca, so keep that in mind if you are planning a visit in August.

It seems unlikely that Apple will be selling these bands outside of the Olympics as they were created for a special occasion, but we wouldn’t be surprised if we were to start seeing some of them pop up on eBay due to their limited edition status. They will also be sold at $49 a piece and in a post on Twitter by Trayvon Bromell, a sprinter for Team USA, he has shown off what the bands will look like in real-life, which we have to say looks pretty sweet!
