blizzard-50m-cancelThere are all kinds of things that could set someone of, meaning that trying to please everyone would basically be an impossible task. That being said, it seems that Blizzard has recently been on the receiving end of death threats by a 28-year old man from Sacramento by the name of Stephen Cebula.

However it seems that these threats were pretty serious enough where Cebula was apparently arrested over the contents of the threats. According to the US Department of Justice, Cebula’s threats stated that he “may or may not pay [Blizzard] a visit with an AK47 amongst some other ‘fun’ tools,” and “might be inclined to ‘cause a disturbance’ at [Blizzard’s] headquarters in California with an AK47 and a few other ‘opportunistic tools.’”

Cebula is said to be in custody at the moment and is scheduled to be arraigned on the 26th of July, 2016. If found guilty, Cebula could face up to 5 years in prison, and a fine of $250,000. This is obviously not the first time developers have received such threats. When No Man’s Sky was delayed, apparently the developers were sent tons of death threats as well. Thankfully nothing untoward has happened, but better safe than sorry.
