netflix-expansion
It has been reported recently that Netflix is looking to remove some of its Windows applications, at one point it was even believed that the company had removed its app from the Windows Store, while some were able to easily download it across Windows Phone 7, 8, 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 10 Mobile. Clearly, something was not right, and now Netflix has officially commented on the matter. Fans of this streaming service have nothing to worry about.

However, it does appear that the Netflix app isn’t coming up in the search results on Windows 10 Mobile, but that’s no cause for concern. It can easily be accessed through suggested searches so it just might be a kink with the search tool and not a quiet removal of the app.

Netflix has officially commented on the matter. The company has said that its app continues to be available across all Windows platforms, and that “there are no plans to remove it.” This should settle doubts about Netflix’s intentions regarding its Windows app, there’s nothing to worry about.

Windows users would certainly have been up in arms had Netflix proceeded to pull its application from the Windows Store. They would still be able to access the service through a web browser, but it would have felt like a betrayal nonetheless, lucky for them Netflix has no plans of doing this right now.
