If Netflix’s Daredevil and Jessica Jones left you wanting more from Marvel and Netflix, both companies have obliged because at the San Diego Comic-Con, Netflix released teasers for both Iron Fist and The Defenders, in addition to the teaser trailer and release date confirmation for Luke Cage, which will be released 30th of September.
Now both these teasers don’t really give us much to work with, although the Iron Fist teaser does show us what Danny Rand will look like in the TV series, or at least at the star. Earlier this year Marvel confirmed that Finn Jones of Game of Thrones fame had been cast to play the main role of Danny Rand in the series.
It is also said that Carrie-Anne Moss will be reprising her role as Jeri Hogarth. Unfortunately a release date for Iron Fist was not confirmed, and the teaser for The Defenders (which will star all four of the series’ heroes) did state that it would only arrive in 2017, which makes sense as in the past we’ve been looking at two releases a year.
