No Man’s Sky has been in development for more than four years so it’s safe to say that there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding this game. We reported about a week ago that No Man’s Sky has finally gone gold which means that development on the game has been completed and that it’s one step closer to release. The latest video in the series that’s slowly revealing more footage from the game shows us the “epic space battles” that players will take part in.

In on-ground combat players will be shooting at aliens and they will be involved in epic space battles in the skies. The entire experiences looks quite visually appealing and fun to play so it’s bound to increase the excitement for this title.

The next two videos in the Guides to the Galaxy series are titled Trade and Survive and they will presumably show off these elements of the game when they are released in the coming weeks.

This game was originally due to be released in June this year but developer Hello Games decided to delay the release because it wanted additional time to refine the game so that it could truly live up to the hype and potential.

No Man’s Sky is going to be released in North American on August 9th for PlayStation 4 and PC.
