Microsoft could be launching a new Surface device in the near future. It won’t be surprising given that it has been a while since the company released a Surface device. An app developer spotted hints to the upcoming device during his visit to Microsoft’s building 88 recently, it also appears that multiple Surface products are planned for release in 2017.

App developer Shubhan Chemburkar spotted the hints at Microsoft’s building 88 where the company has built a wall that showcases its hardware products. It highlights products like the Surface Pro 4, Surface Book, and even the Type Cover.

It’s on this wall that he spotted a Surface placeholder for 2016 with the caption “coming soon,” this is pretty self-explanatory and not that shocking considering the fact that Microsoft is already expected to come out with a new Surface device in the coming months.

He also spotted placeholders for three additional Surface devices that are expected to come out next year. It’s unclear what these devices might be since Microsoft has long been rumored to be working on a Surface phone and we already know that it comes out with new Surface tablets every year.

It was rumored recently that Microsoft could also be working on a Surface-branded all-in-one PC, something that would rival Apple’s iMac, but it’s unclear whether this computer will arrive in 2016 or 2017.
