Nexus 5 owners who quickly installed the latest security update found that it brings something they would rather not have on their device. Countless users have been complaining about a Nexus 5 volume control bug ever since they updated their handsets to the latest security release. Google has acknowledged the problem and has promised that it’s going to send out an update soon which is going to bring a fix for this bug.

The Nexus 5 volume control bug is making it impossible for users to adjust the volume during a phone call even though they can see the slider moving. Some even find it impossible to move the volume slider under the second lowest position.

There are plenty of reports available online which detail all of the issues that Nexus 5 owners are facing due to the volume control bug that surfaced after they updated to the latest security release. It’s annoying them, to say the least, and they certainly want Google to hurry up with the fix.

Those who just can’t deal with this bug anymore can either revert to the previous build by flashing the Nexus 5 factory image manually, while those who don’t mind waiting can sit tight for a couple of days because Google has said it’s going to push out a fix for this bug as soon as possible.
