oneplus-x_ubergizmo_16When the OnePlus X was launched last year, it was met with favorable reviews, but this year the company announced that they would not be bringing the OnePlus X lineup back as they stated that they wanted to concentrate on their flagship lineup. However they did not mention if they were discontinuing the current OnePlus X anytime soon.

However it seems that we might have our answer. According to users on the OnePlus forums, they are reporting that the OnePlus X has been sold out in various markets across Europe. This has been confirmed by other users who are claiming that they have no luck trying to buy the devices themselves.

Some even took it upon themselves to contact OnePlus who told them that they were done with the phone. Like we said, we knew that OnePlus had no plans for a OnePlus X successor, but they never mentioned if the current OnePlus X had reached the end of its lifecycle, but if these user reports are anything to go by, it looks like they are indeed done.

In any case we guess that’s pretty much the end of the line for the OnePlus X, so if you were planning on getting it, you could try your luck at third-party retailers who might have a few left in stock, but then again we’re not sure if it’s so wise to buy a handset that OnePlus is no longer interested in continuing.
