There’s good news for those who have upgraded their Android smartphones to a developer preview of Android N and would like to jump on the Pokemon Go bandwagon. The developer has added support for this beta version of Android and it has also made the game compatible with smartphones powered by Intel processors. These two changes are certainly going to make a lot of people happy who were previously unable to play this insanely popular game.
An update for Pokemon Go was released on iOS earlier today which fixed the controversial Google Account privacy issue, and an update for Android was sent out later which now has support for devices running on Android N Developer Preview.
Support for Android 7.0 Nougat is perhaps the biggest addition that this update makes to Pokemon Go, it would previously show just a grey screen on devices powered by Android N.
Those who have smartphones powered by Intel x86 processors can rejoice too as Pokemon Go is now going to work on their handsets as well, enabling them to get in on the craze that’s taking the world by storm.
Pokemon Go version 0.29.2 is now available for download via the Google Play Store. It’s available for free and you can play it for as long as you’d like, just don’t quit your job for it.
