pokemon_go_manchester_policeOver in Australia, the police had actually warned the public not to simply enter the premises just so they can catch Pokemon GO. However over in Manchester, New Hampshire, the police are actually encouraging users to come to their station to catch Pokemon, although in reality this is more of a sting operation to lure wanted fugitives.

In a post on Facebook, the police wrote, “Attention all area ‪#‎PokemonGo‬ players: we have recently found out that there is a ‪#‎Charizard‬ in our booking area. With the Charizard being such a rare character, we are only inviting a specific number of people. If your name appears on the following list you are one of the lucky ones. Come down to the station to capture Charizard. Hurry before the Charizard leaves!”

They even posted a list of “eligible trainers” who should come in to catch the Charizard, and this list is basically some of the people that are wanted by the Manchester Police Department. Now we have to wonder with the post being made by the police so obviously and publicly, how dumb must one have to be to not realize that this is a trap, right?

However we guess criminals do surprise us from time to time, so hopefully this will allow the police to nab one or two suspects who might not be so quick on the take.
