rise-of-the-tomb-raider-ps4-release-date
PlayStation 4 owners have had to wait for a considerable amount of time to get Rise of the Tomb Raider on their console. Fortunately, Square Enix is putting them out of their misery today. The Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 release date has finally been confirmed today by Square Enix, it’s the same date that was recently rumored.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is the title that’s coming to PlayStation 4 later this year. It features a new story chapter called Blood Ties, co-op play for Endurance Mode, all previously released DLC content and more. There’s also going to be an Artbook Edition which features a 28 page book filled with official concept art and contributions by the community.

The new premium DLC – Blood Ties – will enable players to explore Croft Manor in the main story mode and then defend it against a zombie invasion in Lara’s Nightmare. For the first time in a Tomb Raider game, an online co-op expansion to Endurance Mode enables players to raid tombs together. Two players can team up to survive the elements and threats as they raid tombs.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is the most comprehensive edition of this game to date and it’s going to be released for the PlayStation 4 worldwide on October 11th. Those who own the season pass on Xbox One and PC will get the Blood Ties premium DLC for free.
