verizon signIf you are a Verizon customer you might want to know that your carrier has recently announced a slight price hike. We know that price hikes are usually a very unpopular move but sometimes this is the cost of business in which it is passed onto the customers. However the good news is that you will at the very least be getting something out of this.

For starters the “S” plan will be increased by $5 to $35 a month. Customers will also be able to expect 2GB of data which is double the previous amount. Next is the “M” plan that will also be raised by $5 to $50 and will see an additional 1GB of data, meaning that you will get 4GB a month instead of 3GB.

As for the “L” plan, this is where it will be increased by $10 to $70 a month and will give users 2GB extra data. The “XL” plan will also be seeing a $10 increase but they will get 16GB of data, up from 12GB. Last but not least there is the XXL plan that will now cost $110 a month. This will see users receive an extra 6GB of data which brings it up to 24GB of a month.

As per the previous rumors, it turns out they were true as Verizon has revealed the Carryover Data feature. This allows users to bring over the extra data they didn’t use last month to the next month. There is also a Safety Mode that throttles the internet speed to prevent users to go overboard and thus being hit with overages fees.
