Verizon wants your old phones and it’s willing to pay you for them. The carrier has brought back its national trade-in event and is now offering up to $300 to customers who trade in their old smartphone and purchase a new one from Big Red. It also says if you pick any of the two Droid handsets it’s going to accept your old trade-in device even if it has a cracked screen.

After trading in their old phone customers either have to activate a new line, upgrade on their current line or switch to Verizon from their existing carrier, or purchase a new smartphone on a device payment plan.

Verizon is going to accept old phones with cracked screens if customers purchase either a Droid Turbo 2 or a Droid Maxx 2. The easiest way to take advantage of this promotion is by visiting a Verizon store, trading in your device, and receiving on-the-spot credit for your old phone.

Store employees will give an immediate valuation of the old phone which can immediately be used as a down payment on the new smartphone. The trade-in value can also be obtained as Verizon account credit or a gift card. The process can also be done online.

Those who switch to Verizon will receive up to $650 to pay off their old phone and contract. Phones available for purchase in this trade-in event include the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, HTC 10, LG G5, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Droid Turbo 2 or Droid Maxx 2.
