The second annual Amazon Prime Day is going to take place tomorrow. It’s a special day that Amazon has created for Prime subscribers, they have been promised substantial discounts on a wide variety of products so it’s going to be a big day for the online retailer. Walmart doesn’t want to be left behind and in order to counter Amazon Prime Day, the retailer is offering free shipping without any purchase limit for a few days as well as discounts on electronics.
Walmart is offering free shipping online from July 11th to July 15th to customers without any purchase limits. It’s also going to provide discounts on electronics in order to compete with Amazon’s upcoming mega sale.
Discounted electronics include a 55 inch Samsung 4K TV for $598 which usually costs $1,199, a 500GB Xbox One Gears of War bundle for $279 that’s normally ($355) and an iPhone 5S 16GB Straight Talk prepaid smartphone for $149 instead of $450. These are just some of the electronics that Walmart has discounted to compete with Amazon Prime Day, many more are available through its website.
All of this is only available for a limited time. The free shipping without any purchase limits is only available this week and so are the discounts, check out Walmart’s online store during this time to find out if you can get a better deal there than Amazon, that’s what the retailer is aiming for with this offer.
