Needless to say that if you were to shoot a gun or an arrow at the iPhone, it would be completely destroyed. However what if you created some kind of buffer between your iPhone and the arrow in question? Would it be enough to prevent catastrophic damage? We suppose it will depend on what the buffer is made of.

For example a piece of paper probably won’t do much, but what about the world’s largest gummy bear? If you did not know, the world’s largest gummy bear is 1,000 times bigger than the regular gummy bear and weighs a whopping 5 pounds, which means not only is it heavy, as far as sweets are concerned, but it is also thick, but is it thick enough to stop an arrow from going through an iPhone?

That’s what the folks at PhoneBuff are trying to find out in their test which you can check out for yourself in the video above. Spoiler alert: the gummy bear really doesn’t do anything to slow the arrow down, not even in the slightest as the arrow not only completely goes through the gummy bear, but it goes through the iPhone as well, which we have to say was a bit of a waste in terms of a gummy bear and an iPhone.

In any case if you have a few minutes to spare and you don’t mind a bit of wanton destruction, check out the video above for the action.
