The other day leaked photos revealed ASUS’ upcoming ZenWatch 3. It looks like with the ZenWatch 3, ASUS will be departing from the square-ish design of the ZenWatch and ZenWatch 2 into a circular design that many other companies such as LG, Samsung, and Motorola have adopted.
Of course ASUS hasn’t confirmed anything yet, but it seems that they could be teasing its impending announcement. In a post on Twitter, ASUS teased that “Incredible is coming”, and that “The time for something incredible is now!” Maybe we’re reading too much into this, but the use of the word “time” certainly has us thinking of timepieces, like the ZenWatch 3.
Also the circular nature of Earth reminds us that the ZenWatch 3 will sport a circular face, so either we’re really stretching our imagination, or ASUS is definitely teasing the ZenWatch 3’s announcement. Unfortunately apart from the leaked photos, not much else is known about the smartwatch, like its hardware specs or features.
According to the leaked photos, the smartwatch will have 3 buttons on its side, but other than that, we don’t know what else to expect. In any case it is possible that ASUS will have more than just the ZenWatch 3 to announce at IFA 2016, so do check back with us on the 31st of August for the details.
