Destiny – The Collection was first spotted on Amazon a month ago leading to speculation that Activision may release this iteration of the popular game in the near future. Today, it has officially announced Destiny – The Collection and revealed that it features all of the content that has been released for the game as well as the upcoming DLC. This is a great option for those who didn’t buy the game when it first came out and at $60 it’s an attractive price when you consider that it features all of the DLCs as well.

The core Destiny game is included aside from The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and The Taken King. Rise of Iron is the upcoming DLC for Destiny and that’s included as well.

Customers who pre-order Destiny – The Collection digitally will instantly get access to all previously released content while they wait for Rise of Iron to arrive. They will also get a character boost. Digital pre-orders and some retailers will net customers the Iron Gjallarhorn rocket launcher and the Iron Gjallarwing Sparrow.

Activision is also bringing in PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners in the fold as Rise of Iron is skipping previous-gen consoles. Those who own Destiny: The Taken King on those consoles can upgrade to The Collection for $40. However, this offer is only valid until January 2017 to those who own a digital version of Destiny: The Taken King in the same console family.

Destiny – The Collection is going to be released on September 20th along the Rise of Iron expansion.
