htc_10_promoWith the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 just launched yesterday, we guess a lot of the spotlight will be on Samsung for a while, which obviously does not bode well for other OEMs who are competing in the market, such as HTC who have recently launched a promotion that hopes to entice new customers to purchase their flagship handset, the HTC 10.

If the Note 7 did not do it for you, or if it’s too expensive for your liking, HTC’s latest promotion might be of interest to you. The company has announced that they will be essentially knocking $100 off the price of the phone if you were to purchase it directly from their website. Alternatively if you have already bought the handset, you will be eligible for the promotion too in the form of $100 worth of credit towards accessories.

Assuming you partake in the former promotion, it will bring down the price of the phone to $599, which is admittedly still expensive but you get to save yourself $100 in the process, which isn’t a bad deal. For those who bought the HTC 10, like we said, the $100 will be in the form of credits towards accessory.

However according to the T&C, you will need to have bought it from Verizon, T-Mobile, or Sprint and activate it between 12th July to 31st July, 2016, so if you bought your phone before that, we guess you’d be out of luck.
