Weapons are obviously a very integral part of the gameplay experience in a first-person-shooter so fans of the Battlefield franchise are now wondering what kind of weapons they will be using in the latest addition to the franchise. To shed some light on the weapons that will be available in the game a new video has been published online today on the official Battlefield YouTube channel.
The latest addition to this franchise is called Battlefield 1 and it was announced back at E3 2016 this year. The game takes place in World War 1, hence the “1” in its name and fans have been promised some of the largest, most dynamic battles in FPS history.
Some might also find the name a bit confusing because Battlefield 1 is technically Battlefield 1942 which was released back in 2002. The big distinguishing factor is obviously the fact that this game takes place during the first World War.
The short video that has been published online walks us through some of the shotguns, grenades, and other weapons that players will have at their disposal as they make their way through the game.
Expect to see more footage from the game later this month at the Gamescom 2016 convention. We might finally hear news about the multiplayer as well.
Battlefield 1 is going to be released on October 21st, 2016.
