pokemon goGames are meant to be fun, but there are some who take them way too seriously. After all it’s meant to be fun and relaxing, so why get so worked up over it, right? Unfortunately this is the reality where some people love making huge deals about trivial things, and sad to say that this behavior has spilled over into Pokemon GO.

According to a post on Reddit by Stolen_Insanity, he recently encountered such behavior when he was out walking his dog at night and playing the game at the same time. A group of teens noticed that he was playing and approached him and asked if he had any lures that he could spare to help them in their progress. Given that lures aren’t exactly easy to come by, Stolen_Insanity declined to drop one for them, which is when things got ugly.

“At this point the group had all swarmed me to get a look at my screen with questions thrown about like ‘What’s your level?’ ‘What’s your best pokemon?’ etc etc. I just kind of ignored all of the questions as my dog was getting a bit jittery with all the people around when suddenly, one colossal turd of a guy said something along the lines of ‘Put one of your lures down or I’m going to hit your dog.’ I was in shock whilst he started trying to egg his friends on by telling them to ‘Kick his dog! Kick his dog!’”

However it seems that he managed to walk away from the group without anything untoward happening. “I would have loved to tear these guys apart but decided to just walk away. I’d never put my dog in danger. But seriously, what a bunch of a*s-hats.”
