The Resident Evil movies have been going on for years, and it looks like it will all be coming to an end soon in the last movie, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Now whether you love it or hate it, you have to admit that as far as video game movies are concerned, the Resident Evil franchise has lasted a very long time.

That being said, for those curious about the final movie, you’ll be pleased to learn that its teaser trailer has been released. According to the description of the movie based on its YouTube listing, “Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.”

Now as to whether or not this will be the last we’ll be seeing of the Resident Evil franchise on the big screen remains to be seen. After all it is a pretty lucrative franchise and we’re sure no one wants it to die out. However as far as the series that stars Milla Jovovich is concerned, this will be the last. The movie has been scheduled for a release on the 27th of January, 2017.
