galaxy-note-7-design_08-colors-backIf you weren’t quick on pulling the trigger when it came to pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, there is a good chance that you might be facing some shipping delays. According to the folks at Android Central, they have been tipped off that certain color options for the Galaxy Note 7 could be in short supply.

To be more specific, they are referring to the color options of Blue Coral and Silver. It would seem that Samsung had underestimated the demand for pre-orders, and that there are some who might have ordered later who will now have to wait as long as three weeks for their units to arrive to them.

Apparently both these colors proved to be pretty popular options, and we guess it is easy to see why since they are rather refreshing compared to the more traditional black finishes we have come to expect from smartphones these days. Neither Samsung nor their partner carriers have officially commented on the delay.

However Samsung Canada did offer a statement to Android Central which reads, “We’ve experienced an unprecedented number of pre-orders and we’re excited to begin fulfilling orders on August 19th. Over the coming weeks, we’ll work with our valued carrier and retail partners to provide wide-reaching national retail availability.”
