T-Mobile provides a lot of benefits to its customers who are going abroad for work or for pleasure. They get unlimited high-speed data in Europe and even got unlimited data in Brazil during the Olympics. The carrier has now announced another benefit for those who are going out of the country. Those who are headed to Singapore will be delighted to know that they will be able to access countless Wi-Fi hotspots across the island nation free for a limited time.

T-Mobile has said that its subscribers will get free access to Singapore’s public Wi-Fi network called Wireless@SG from today through September 21st. They will be able to access some 290 hotspots in designated areas which include major MRT train stations as well as the Sentosa resort island.

Customers who might find themselves in Singapore will need to go through a one-time process in order to use the free Wi-Fi hotspots. The process involves verifying the SIM after which users will automatically be connected to Wireless@SG hotspots whenever they are in range.

This way, T-Mobile customers become a part of the trial being conducted by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore and get access to free public Wi-Fi as long as they are in the country during the dates mentioned above. It can’t be said for sure if this will ever be a permanent benefit for Magenta subscribers once the trial ends.
