Yesterday Blizzard released the first part of their audio drama “The Tomb of Sargeras”. For those learning about this for the first time, the audio drama is basically a prequel of sorts that will lead up to the World of Warcraft: Legion expansion. For those who have finished the first part, it looks like you didn’t have to wait too long for the second part.
Blizzard has released part 2 of The Tomb of Sargeras audio drama which you can check out for yourself in the video above. It runs for a little over 19 minutes so obviously you’ll want to make sure you have some free time before tuning in. For those who might prefer to actually read the story rather than listen to it, you’ll be able to find the PDF of the story right here.
According to Blizzard’s description of part 2, “Khadgar has pursued Gul’dan from Draenor to Azeroth, tracking the warlock all the way to the Broken Isles. There are enemies here, but it might be Khadgar’s allies who give him the most trouble.” The audio drama is Blizzard’s first attempt at trying a new format when it comes to delivering lore and backstory to its games.
Previously we’ve seen the company try other methods such as videos, comics, and books. Judging from the comments, fans seem to be pretty pleased with what they are hearing so far, so if you love Warcraft’s lore then maybe this could be worth checking out.
