galaxy-note-7-design_29-ear-speakerSo earlier today we reported that T-Mobile could be shipping out the Galaxy Note 7 ahead of time, and the good news is that if you pre-ordered the handset from Verizon, it would seem that the carrier has also begun shipping out the handsets a bit earlier than anticipated. The phone was scheduled for the 19th of August, but some customers will be getting it sooner.

According to users posting on the XDA forums, they are reporting that they have received notifications informing them that their order has been shipped, and that they have been given tracking numbers. Some of the orders are expected to reach on the 18th of August, meaning that it will be a good day before everyone else will get it.

We’re not sure if this applies to all pre-orders, but some users are claiming that this seems to be only applicable to those who pre-ordered the coral blue finish, and that those who pre-ordered the black unit will have to wait until launch day. We’re not sure why, maybe coral blue units arrived earlier than the black ones, but either way the phones still appear to be on track for the 19th of August, so really it’s just a nice surprise to get it earlier.
