Are you excited for the upcoming World of Warcraft: Legion expansion? We know that some gamers feel like it might be a rehashing of older content, but we have to say, everything we’ve seen and experienced certainly makes it feel like a brand new game. Now Blizzard has been marketing the heck out of it and just last week, they got Tony Swatton from Man at Arms to forge Thrall’s Doomhammer in real life.

As if that wasn’t enough, the latest video sees Blizzard return to Swatton and gets him to forge the Warglaive  of Azzinoth, which we reckon was a long time coming. In case you’re not caught up with your Warcraft lore, the Warglaive of Azzinoth (or the Twin Blades of Azzinoth when both items are obtained) is the weapon wielded by the Demon Hunter Illidan, who presumably will be playing a huge role in the Legion expansion.

The video shows Swatton following the design of the Warglaive and creating one in real life, although there had to be some concessions, such as how the blade could not be made out of a block of solid metal as it would be too heavy for regular people to wield. Also unlike the version in the game, the replica does not have the demonic green glow about it, but we suppose at the end of the day it is still pretty awesome, so check out the forging process in the video above if you have a few minutes to spare.
