airpodWith the new iPhones missing the headphone jack, Apple has the answer for customers in the form of AirPods, a new pair of wireless headphones that sports the new W1 chip from Apple that makes pairing the headphones with the iPhone a cinch. However given that they’re wireless and they’re pretty small, what happens when you lose them?

Ideally you would keep them in their case all the time when they’re not in use, but realistically we know that sometimes it’s just easier to toss them on the bed or table or stuff them in your pockets, which also means that you could end up losing them. So if you lose one does that mean you’ll have to buy a brand new pair? Thankfully no.

Apple has confirmed to the folks at Mashable that customers will be able to buy individual AirPod earpieces “through normal service channels”. This means that if you lose one AirPod earpiece, you can always get the replacement without any issues. However Apple did not mention how much the replacement piece would cost, but given that the AirPods costs $160, we can only imagine that the replacements won’t come cheap, but hopefully we will be proven wrong.
