battlefield_1_03There are some who argue that PC gaming is better than console gaming, and we guess if you own a killer rig that might be true. The upside is that if you have the cash to spare, you could build yourself a gaming rig that will be able to outperform that of a console, but the downside is that as time goes on, eventually you will get to a point where your PC can’t support the latest games.

Now if you are insisting that you want to play EA’s upcoming Battlefield 1 for the PC, the official minimum and recommended PC specs have been revealed. Starting with the minimum, players are expected to own an Intel Core i5 6600K or better, or if you’re an AMD gamer, an AMD FX-6350 or better. Gamers are also required to have at least 8GB of RAM, 50GB of hard drive space, and for the GPU, either an AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB.

As for recommended specs, we’re looking at an AMD FX 8350 Wraith or  Intel Core i7 4790 in terms of processor with 16GB of RAM. For the GPU, an AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, and a 64-bit Windows 10 operating system or later. If you think your current rig is capable of meeting those requirements, then you should be all set for Battlefield 1’s release which is set for the 21st of October, 2016.
