Activision confirmed earlier this year that it’s going to release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Merely a day after Electronic Arts released the much awaited single player trailer for Battlefield 1, Activision has tried to steal its thunder by releasing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered launch trailer. It has all the hallmarks of a CoD title so big fans of the franchise are going to feel appeased.

The Call of Duty franchise is a cash cow for Activision. A new title is released every year and so far this franchise has made more than $15 billion.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is the remake of the popular Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare title which was released back in 2007. Those who purchase Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition will receive the remastered version of this title for free. Customers who pre-order will be allowed to play the Modern Warfare Remastered campaign 30 days ahead of schedule starting October 5th.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered launch trailer highlights some of the improvements that have been made to this title, including but not limited to enhanced textures, high dynamic range lighting, physically based rendering, and more.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will both be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 4th.
