The other day a rendering of the Google Pixel XL made its way online. However it only showed the front of the phone, and the rest of the phone was really anyone’s guess. Now thanks to a post by @OnLeaks (via Phandroid), we have a better idea of what the phone could look like as a video of a 3D render has been posted.

If you have been following the Pixel XL rumors, then chances are you probably have an idea of what the phone looks like, which is thanks to Android Police back then who created a mockup based on the insider information they were told. This new 3D rendering doesn’t really show us anything new, but it does offer us a cleaner look at the handset.

The rumors are saying the phone is made by HTC and sure enough we can see some of HTC’s design in the handset. The overall design is pretty sleek, although we really are curious about the back portion of the phone which seems to have a dual tone look, with some claiming that top half is actually made from glass.

There is also a cutout where the fingerprint sensor is, and there is also the camera, flash, and three small holes at the back which we can only assume is a microphone. Also unlike some of HTC’s phones, the camera on the Pixel XL appears to be a bit small. Google’s Nexus phones have never really be known for their cameras so it will be interesting to see if Google will remedy this with the Pixel lineup. In any case check back with us on the 4th of October for the details.
